What do we do with our time?

I have done a research to find out what we do with our time. I have asked 11 people about how much time they spend sleeping, eating, watching TV and doing housework. There were people from 17 to 50 years. According to my research, the average person spends a third of a day sleeping. It is 32, 5 % of day. People generally get up at 7 a.m. and go to bed at 11 p.m. People spend one hour and thirteen minutes a day eating. It is 6, 5 % of day. On average, people spend 4 hours a day or 27 hours a week watching TV (16 % of day). The average woman spends three or four a day doing housework (17 %). I found out that people spend about one hour chatting on the phone and no less than 3 hours using the Internet. Also they do shopping three hours a week. About 60 per cent are not happy with the way they use their time.

  2. Most results are almost the same with those I've got. You made an interesting research, asking up-to-date questions. Moreover, posting this information on our blog, you made an instersting decision to add some pics. They are very bright and a littl amusing.

  3. Yulya, the people you have interviewed don't look very busy. First of all, they don't work or study, I gather, as you never mention it. Moreover, they can spend 4 hours watching TV plus 3 hours surfing the Net. Amazingly, they are not happy with the way they use their time!
