I was born on May, 2, 1995 in Sevastopol Maternity House 2. At the age of five I attended local amateur dance course with my friends. Later, at the age of 6, I entered local elementary school. I was a little bit off the usual schedule, I came to school on the 18th of Semtemper. At first, I didn't wanted to go to school , but then , most of my friends went there and I didn't have anyone to socialise with. Being in the second grade, I went to a musical school in order to master piano. In 2009 I went on a significant trip to Lvov with all of my classmates. It was really full of emotions. In 2012 I finished school and entered TNU ) Nowadays, my life is in progress and I hope it will have lots of exciting curves.
The blog is intended to assist first year students at the Department of Foreign Languages, Tavrida National University, in studying English.

The Case For The Defence
… Both brothers were arrested by the police the
next day. It was obvious that one of them did commit that blood-curdling crime.
The question was that the brothers had alibis to be broken…
The best decision was taken immediately. The
two brothers were interrogated right away, so that they didn’t even have a way
to communicate and negotiate about the case. There was nothing the police did
to the accused… All the needed manipulations were done to their wives, who were
supposed to blurt out all the information right after the police told each of
them that her husband is already sentenced to death by burning, despite the
trial. Anyway, they told absolutely nothing.
The police was confused: they were sure their
plan should’ve worked it out. They had nothing left, apart from applying polygraph,
which was highly trusted, to both accused. After a line of related-to-case
questions the presumed murderers were asked a direct one “Did you batter that
lady to death?” The answers were, of course, negative and polygraph confirmed
that they didn’t tell any drop of lie.
The police was bound to set the accused free.
Everybody wondered how they managed to be acquitted after a dozen of people had
seen them committing a crime in broad daylight… It didn’t matter anymore, because
nobody knew that when you believe, you are able to wind round your little
finger even a polygraph...

The city I'd like to visit
I would like you to get acquainted with one of the most mysterious and beautiful cities in the world. It is San Francisco. This unique city is located on the West Coast of the United States at the north end of the San Francisco peninsular and includes significant stretches of the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay within its boundaries. It's sparkling, that the city if officially name as the City and County of San Francisco and it is the leading financial and cultural center of Norther California. The city also has the largest population density.
I have chosen this gorgeous place mainly because of my childhoos interest for "Charmed", which is an American series about three witches, fighting with demons and dark powers. The city was a filmland for the series and you can find there the Sisters' house (The Charmed Ones). The house is, actually, the most interesting thing for me about this city and I want you to have a closer look at it.
After having a quick look at this magnificent house, I want you to see two more most famous places of San Francisco. The first one on the list is definitely the Golden Gate Bridge. There's something special about this bridge, apart from being the most internationally recognized one, it draw your attention being an architecture marvel. Many international magazines put in to a list of the most beautiful modern wonders. It is certainly the most photographed bridge in the world. It is thrilling to know that this bridge has been filmed more than 30 times, not including every single time it was shown on news or in series episodes. Surprisingly though, such an angelic place used to be popular with people, who were eager to commit a suicide. That's the main reason why the authority provided the bridge with a special telephone line for such cases. Anyway, it's one of the most eye-drawing object in California.
The second place I want to tell you about is Chinatown, which is very famous the world over as it is one of the biggest in the United States. It's becomes less popular to develop such things as Chinatowns, but San Francisco's special district amazes. It has over 2000 shop and stalls, so that you can find there almost everything. Whether you want to have some cheap food or have a meal at first-class restaurants - you can find it in this Chinatown. Personally, I suppose it is one of my favourite places in the city because it shows the combination of different cultures - all you need is just stroll along the alley.
As you have already read, the main reason I want to visit this place is the Charmed house, but there's one more thing that attracts me almost equally. The thing is amazing climate throughout the year. I'm not a big fan of winter and all those cold things, so San Francisco is probably the perfect paradise for me. It has hot dry summer, which is OK, and mild winter and autum, which allows people to enjoy relaxing weather whenever they want.

How Ukrainians Spend The Time
This survey revealed some average activities Ukrainian people spend time
on. I’ve asked 25 people including 5 pensioners over 60 years old and 4
children about 12 years old. The vast majority of interviewees are under-aged
students of the Tavrida National University.
The main time-taking part of the day is sleep. Sleep takes an average
person about 8 hours a day, which is approximately the third part of all time.
The second popular way of spending time is watching television. On average, it
takes about 3 to 4 hours a day to watch favourite TV shows and series. As
pensioners have more spare time than anyone else, most of them spend about 5 to
6 hours a day watching the soap operas and other programs.
It’s startling that the vast majority or interviewed students spend at
least 1 hour a day reading for pleasure. Anyway, about 45% do not consider
reading as an important part of their weekly activity. Surprisingly, 88% of
children under the age of 12 read more than their older companions. Moreover,
95% of pensioners prefer newspapers to book.
99% of interviewees generally get up about 6 o’clock usually to have
enough time to eat in the morning and wrap their bag for school or university.
Being a great thrill, most pensioners get up early daily, including weekends,
whereas 95% of younger generation’s representatives usually sleep until 10 a.m.
The vast majority, 90% stay up late daily because of studying or
communicating with friends via social networks. Most of students, 98% don’t eat
in the morning before university or school. Pensioners, all of a sudden, eat
just 2 times a day instead of recommended norm of 3-to-5 ingestion.
According to the held survey, most people spend about 33% of their time
sleeping, watching TV takes 23%. 20% of all time is studying (intellectual work),
which includes reading as a broadening-horizons activity. About 15% of time
takes leisure, which is different with most of the pensioners, whom it takes
about 20-25%. The rest part of time, about 10%, is covered by different less
time-taking things, such as eating and cooking, for instance.

How I Really Spend My Time
Everybody has ever thought about the way they spend their time and how they could spend it better. The results of the recent researches amazed me and I decided to count out the approximate amount of time-wasting activity I do daily. I was shocked.
As a student of one of the most demanding department of the Tavrida National University, studying takes the vast majority of my time. Firstly, I spend at least five hours attentions lectures; secondly, I come home and do homework for the next day. It isn't easy, but I try to cope with the amount of new information I get every single day.
I'm broad-minded person, so that I have loads of interests and hobbies. Getting to know new information is the most important thing in my life - moreover, it's the age of globalization, so you need to know more than ever before - that's why I keep reading books, no matter how little time I have. I am also into cross-stitching a lot, but nowadays, I haven't got a couple of spare minutes to make a single cross. One of my biggest hobby is singing. I'm a big fan of Lara Fabian and Mariah Carey, so I have a classic music taste, and I put myself a target to be close to the vocals they produce. I'm not a splendid singer, but I can sing and enjoy it at least. Singing takes me much time.
I spend about 2 hours a day communicating with my friends and relatives. I prefer to hang out on fresh air, but at the moment I spend outside less time than I used to. That's why I have to manage with taking to the remote friends via "Skype" or else.
Enlisted above facts are important daily activities and they take me about 17 hours including sleep. The rest 7 hours are taken by the so-called time-wasters. For instant, the most common time-waster in the city is public transport. You spend roughly an hour en route to the university and back home. Personally, the incapacity to allocate time efficiently and occupying the blanks of time with unimportant activities such as preparing one more cup of tea, sitting and doing nothing and so on...
Notwithstanding, I absolutely enjoy the way I spend my time, so I would change nothing, because this defines my personality and I like it.

Dash - the one and the only!
I've known her since I remember myself. We were always together playing different games, exploring around the house, making useless attempts to operate a doll. Darya Nesterova, 17 years old, and I were and are still the best childhood amigos.
Dasha is a very pretty girl, who always wears brand-new clothes and changes into a casual vest or pyjamas when she is at home. She has never been overweight a bit, always keeping fit and making guys stare and feel drawn to her shapely legs. She's got shoulder-blades-length wavy brown hair and usually wears it loose. Her fair complexion mixes up with her perfectly oval face. She possesses big hazel eyes and a turned up tiny nose.
There's a unique connection between us - a special language of souls we share. I'm so glad I found her long ago and hope we'll stay friends for good. Even though we've been acquainted for 16 years, I haven't completely analysed her personality. This makes our relationships interesting and adventurous.
What I like most about Dash is that she's always cheerful and positive, no matter how bad things are. She's always ready to support you in difficult situations, which makes her very considerate. She is extremely reliable, so you can be sure that your secrets and mysteries won't be revealed the next day. As for her best feature, she is very uncompromising person and does her job demandingly but with passion. Moreover, being sensible and demanding doesn't prevent her from being tender when communicating with close people. Dash in candid and determined enough to say what she thinks face to face.
Besides the enlisted characteristics, she shows a tendency of being a little bit lazy at times. She's got a potential to make her dreams happen, but doesn't use it often. As for me, this is her worst drawback.
P.S. I'm so sorry, my Internet connection is so poor so I can't post the photo right now. I'll do it later )

Taurus
Taurus is the second sign of the zodiac,
entered by the sun about April 21. Taurus represents quite a peculiar kind of
people. They are usually very stubborn. They refuse to accept the general truth
when it doesn't coincide their personal opinion. Moreover, they often emotionalize
their conflicts with other people on account of being very sensitive and
temperamental simultaneous. Being sensitive is also the main reason why it is so easy to reduce these people to tears. Being obstinate and hot-blooded Taurus makes it hard to believe that they are very gullible. They are not aware of your lies until you tell them. On the contrary, they are good liars themselves, but they never tell a lie without a sensible reason. People of this sign are usually very ambitious.
They easily build up plans for the furthest future, which seem very unrealistic when you hear about them for the first time. Being energetic and competitive helps Taurus organize their time properly therefor they are always in time for an appointment. As for the best feature, Taurus is very
generous. When it’s time to back up friends they are ready to give the shirt
off their back.
They try to stick to the top tree even in trivial events they face. Mostly, they are very optimistic towards life
and people, but can be indifferent when enraged.

A hard-working man )
The most suitable adjectives are kind, sociable and talkative and, of course, ambitious. These are not the best ones a person can posses, but I enjoy this features of my character, I do. Naturally, as any other person on the Earth, I want to chage something about my character: add or remove (get rid of) some chrarcteristics. First of all, I want to become more down to the earth, because nowadays I am ambitious enough to spoil my own life.
I hope you liked my adj-cloud and I am desperately looking forward to seeing your ones.

Vladislav's Introduction
I really liked the post called "Let's start". I always get excited when it's time to create anything like this. Firs of all, I want to mention that I tried to be honest, but then I realised that this resource has a limited amount of words you can type in for into-speech-transformation, therefore my introduction ends so suddenly.
I have so much information to share. I think I'll do it after a while if I have time. My first post in not very informative, but the Internet connection does not allow me to write heavy thing. It just won't send it. When I get home, I'll compose a bigger, much more interesting and extremely uplifting post. I'm extremely thrilled and want to see your speaking avatars too.
From Vlad with great love.
Bye for now.
P.S. I got so much pleasure doing this task.
Thank you, Maria Vladimirovna
